Notes

Koyasu Kannon figure carved directly into a living or preserved tree trunk — the surrounding bark and wood grain form the natural frame. Exhibited at Fukuoka City Museum 2008 (caption: 子安観音菩薩(愛媛・光明寺)) and Sogo Art Museum 2015. Belongs to the tachiki (立木) category alongside SC-1807-001 and SC-1804-006. Carved during Mokujiki's Shikoku pilgrimage period.
